‘Just Go’ is an album that most people don’t listen to because it’s a Lionel Richie album, and most Lionel Richie fans don’t listen to because it’s completely modernized and drastically different to his hits. If any of you download or use Spotify, I’d highly recommend you check it out. Or buy it, that’d be cool.
Tonight I went to Manchester and got a ticket to Lionel Richie. I sat on my own with loads of old women who were dancing and screaming.
Best night ever.
Since high school, I’ve been unbelievably obsessed with the album ‘Just Go’ by Lionel Richie. I have friends who love Motown and Lionel Richie, but hate that album. It’s not considered ‘good’ Lionel Richie, but I love it nonetheless. Every single song was on my top 25 most played playlist on my high school laptop, and it’s not got old since. Go download it!
I remember in my last year of high-school, I was so obsessed with the album ‘Just Go’ by Lionel Richie. On the laptop I used in high-school, the no.1 listened to song on my iTunes was this.
Lionel Richie and Joel Madden did a duet of the Commodores song ‘Easy’. It’s like my whole life has been leading to seeing this. I’ve loved Good Charlotte since I was a little pop-punk obsessed kid, Lionel Richie’s one of my favourite musicians and Easy is one of my favourite songs to see him sing. I’m happy.
Put BBC1 on! Lionel for a whole hour!
‘Forever’ by Lionel Richie is the ultimate chill-out album.
I actually really love Rick Astley and Lionel Richie’s music, but both tags on Tumblr are filled with shit jokes. So annoying, where all the Astley and Richie fans at?!
Not sure if I like Lionel Richie’s new album, ‘Tuskegee’. I like the concept of doing alternate versions of old classics from him and the Commodores with other musicians, but a lot of the songs don’t come close to the originals. I do quite like the idea of a small guitar solo in ‘Hello’, the more upbeat ‘All Night Long’, and you definitely can’t beat ‘Endless Love’ just because it has Shania Twain!
I’m sure it’ll grow on me.
